NEXT architecture designed Coldspark’s workplace in Three PPG Place in downtown Pittsburgh. Coldspark is a political consulting and media company that requested a space to match their brand and impress visiting clients. The 4,300 square foot workplace utilizes curvilinear design elements to soften the sharp angular design of the base building, PPG. The space features a variety of places to work and meet; conference rooms, booths, kitchenette, work cafe and an open elevator lobby lounge. Each space was designed with contrast and brand elements in mind, placing warm wood and brass finishes with darker paint and accent fabrics. The office opens to a seasonal patio offering additional space to entertain clients or work.
