NEXT architecture designed the 12,000 square foot workplace for LANGAN Engineering, located at Zenith Ridge in the Southpointe II business park in Canonsburg, PA. NEXT worked closely with LANGAN to design a space that functioned for engineering collaboration. LANGAN wanted to provide a central ‘hub’ for their employees adjacent to the main conference room and reception area. This was achieved by incorporating a telescoping glass wall system in the main conference room that opens into the kitchen. In addition to the versatility the glass wall system provides, a mobile center kitchen island was added to gain more flexibility for meeting space. Private phone and conference rooms of varying sizes were included throughout the space and perimeter stand-up collaborative areas were incorporated within the workstations.
