Boardwalk I & II info

Pittsburgh, PA

The Boardwalk I + II buildings are located in North Fayette township with close proximity to the Mall at Robinson development. The architecture of both buildings features two material shells interacting; a grounded brick facade interacting with a lighter glazed facade. There is significant facade articulation in the materiality. The brick facade is composed of contemporary tan brick with gloss black brick used for accent detailing. A mix of three types of glass are used along with fiber cement panels to create the glazing shell. The first floor features a brick colonnade and pronounced entrances that are articulated with multi-story glass and steel canopies.
