NEXT architecture entered Bee Breeders’s architectural competition for the observation tower at Kurgi Farms located in Latvia’s North Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve, a large nature conservation area at the Estonian border. NEXT’s proposed solution focused on creating a landform, mast and look- out areas. Strategic observation points are located along the mast to focus on key view corridors. A heated lounge is created at the top of the structure with 360 degree views of the site.
