NEXT architecture provides the full range of architectural and interior design services. These services include strategic and master planning, programming, design, image and branding consultation, project management, furniture selection, change and move management and engineering consultation. Interior Designer II
NEXT architecture LP, formed in 2003, is a full-service architecture and interior design firm located in Pittsburgh, PA. NEXT architecture’s focus and primary area of work is the Pittsburgh region with continual growth of our reach. Our expertise in the commercial office market sector has allowed us to gain a reputation for design excellence and quality service in the region. Our work strives to develop high quality design solutions through interaction and collaboration with our clients.
Job Summary:
Our firm is seeking self-motivated, skilled and creative individuals to serve as project support staff. This full-time position will allow the candidate the opportunity to develop their skills in a growing, high-paced environment. Individuals will work alongside employees at all levels of experience offering the chance to learn from seasoned professionals. Projects will be interiors focused however candidates must be prepared to collaborate with architectural studio.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Interior Design program.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience required.
- NCIDQ certified or pursuing certification preferred
- Motivated, passionate about design
- Possesses interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Possesses knowledge of building and ADA codes
- Finish selection and specifications
- Selection and specification of furniture
- Ability to produce interior construction documents including: floor plans, floor finish plans, elevations, details, finish schedules and furniture plans
- Ability to lead and participate in design teams
- Ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts to their team and to clients.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong experience with Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Suite. AutoCad experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organization, time management skills and excellent graphic presentation skills.
