NEXT architecture designed a 5,500 square foot luxury condo interior located at Three PNC Plaza in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. This high-rise residence includes floor to ceiling windows facing PPG Place, Market Square, and PNC Park, showcasing a riveting view of the city. The architectural experience begins from the moment the elevator doors open. The view is emphasized with an undulating wood ceiling meant to draw the eye through the space, to the windows, and ultimately to the views beyond. The wood ceiling element was coordinated to allow the structure and systems to blend seamlessly. The space planning was done with great intention, situating the most utilized spaces: kitchen, dining, and entertainment on the best views. The materials utilized in the residence balances a minimalist design concept with a feeling of comfort.
