Dollar Bank Liberty Commons Atrium info
Pittsburgh, PANEXT architecture was engaged by Dollar Bank to perform a programming study, analysis and design for their existing lobby and atrium space at the Liberty Commons building in the Strip District neighborhood of Pittsburgh. The existing facility required transformational upgrades to bring the building to current workplace standards. NEXT proposed activating the atrium space with furniture groupings allowing Dollar Bank employees to make more efficient use of the space. A new market and café was added to bring activity and life to the atrium. Enhanced security features including optical lanes were included in the design of the entry sequence. Wood features and Dollar Bank’s branding colors were incorporated to add warmth and continuity to the space.
