NEXT architecture completed a tenant spec suite at The Union Trust Building in downtown Pittsburgh. The suite includes an open office space, conference rooms, an open kitchen area and built in collaborative spaces. The space was duel level and presented a challenge for our team to plan for future tenants. To solve for multiple possibilities in the future an elevated platform was built to accommodate an open working space and a ‘sunken’ living room collaborative zone was built into the transition to the lower level. Our team capitalized on the height of the existing space to draw future tenant into a bright, vibrant open office. Views of existing historic elements were framed by the new interior architecture.
