Philosophy

NEXT architecture provides the full range of architectural and interior design services. These services include strategic and master planning, programming, design, image and branding consultation, project management, furniture selection, change and move management and engineering consultation. We pride ourselves in the ability to provide clients with a broad range of experience, a strong work ethic and the commitment to service from start to finish on each project.

NEXT architecture focuses on people; creating and maintaining lasting client relationships. Our solutions strive to enhance the experience of space, context and craftsmanship. NEXT architecture is in business to serve our clients and dedicate ourselves to meeting their expectations. We have no ego: every project is unique; it allows us to always look for new ideas, always looking forward. NEXT architecture does not impose design ideals on our clients; rather our projects are a direct result of listening to their needs and budgetary guidelines through which we develop solutions that are appropriate. Senior Architect - Tampa, Florida

NEXT architecture LP is a full service architecture and interior design firm located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our focus on innovation creates the ability to demonstrate our expertise in various market sectors and have gained a reputation for design excellence and quality service in the region.

NEXT architecture utilizes talented individuals to lead projects with direct principal involvement. We feel that this consistently high level of involvement is crucial to every project’s success. Our team members’ project management experience in all aspects of construction, both new and renovation , keep our projects on track according to budget and schedule.

Our work strives to develop high quality design solutions through interaction and collaboration with our clients. We do not impose architectural ideals on our clients; rather our design styles are a direct result of listening to their needs and economical guidelines through which we develop solutions that are appropriate. NEXT architecture does not maintain a signature style; every project is important and considered for its unique qualities and design opportunity. We work with our clients to continually improve our approach to projects, from a management and design perspective.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Registered Architect or Certified Interior Designer: Possess valid registration as an architect or certification as an interior designer.
  • Strategic Firm Planning: Experience in contributing to macro- level firm strategies and future planning for sustained success.
  • Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Proficiency in client interface, fostering and nurturing quality business relationships, and adeptness in client marketing strategies to drive new projects and firm growth.
  • Brand Recognition: Demonstrated ability to enhance brand visibility and recognition for NEXT architecture within the Tampa market.
  • Commercial Real Estate Acumen: Understanding of the commercial real estate market dynamics; preference for candidates with existing relationships within the CRE industry.
  • Firm Management: Proven track record of active involvement in firm management, including but not limited to project oversight, resource allocation, and team leadership.
  • Industry Involvement: Participation in relevant industry organizations and executive boards, showcasing a commitment to professional development and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Registered architect or certified interior designer
  • Takes initiative to study and maintain firm culture
  • Involved in macro level firm thinking and strategic planning for the firm’s future success
  • Responsible for client interface, developing and maintaining quality business relationships, marketing to clients, new work and firm growth
  • Heavily involved in firm management

Architect I / Architectural Associate

Our expertise in the commercial office market sector has allowed us to gain a reputation for design excellence and quality service in the region. Our work strives to develop high quality design solutions through interaction and collaboration with our clients.

Job Summary:

Our firm is seeking self-motivated, skilled and creative individuals to serve as project support staff. This full-time position will allow the candidate the opportunity to develop their skills in a growing, high-paced environment. Individuals will work alongside employees at all levels of experience offering the chance to learn from seasoned professionals. Projects will be architecturally focused however candidates must be prepared to collaborate with interior design studio.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Architectural program
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Produce architectural drawings and details from conceptual sketches, renderings and field measurements.
  • Exterior finish selections and specifications.
  • Produce test fits based on collected programming.
  • Assist in project development through all phases of a project.
  • Take direction from project managers for project related work.
  • Strong experience with Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Suite. AutoCad experience preferred but not required.
  • Assist in coordinating engineering drawings.

  • NCIDQ certified or pursuing certification preferred
  • Motivated, passionate about design
  • Possesses interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Possesses knowledge of building and ADA codes
  • Finish selection and specifications
  • Selection and specification of furniture
  • Ability to produce interior construction documents including: floor plans, floor finish plans, elevations, details, finish schedules and furniture plans
  • Ability to lead and participate in design teams
  • Ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts to their team and to clients.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Strong experience with Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Suite. AutoCad experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organization, time management skills and excellent graphic presentation skills.
